I'm trying to rebuild a Bose X headset. How does one remove the clips that hold the wire to the head band (see attached)? Just grab them with a pair of pliers and yank? How do I re-install them? Just set them in place and give it a good shove?
On a related note, the wire is showing a bit of wear. Does anyone know if it is attached to the electronics inside the ear cups via a connector? Or is it soldered in?
