The Red Arrows Friday OSH performance was delayed, then modified when one of the aircraft was missing a fuel cap. Fortunately that was a better outcome. Someone is getting some serious fuel cap training!

I did a little work for/with this guy a few years after this pic was taken. To the best of my recollection the cap came off, went down an intake, and fodded a motor; but you can also see the large quantity of fuel streaming from the area of the missing cap.

I found the fuel cap missing from our jets on occasions. We even have a deferral ready to go for it.
