Can a passenger who needs oxygen bring their own oxygen bottle? or does the carrier provide the passenger in need with the carrier's own oxygen bottle?

Thanks.

O2bottles are not allowed to be carried on, pocs are allowed if they are an approved unit.

O2 on a air carrier flight is problematic which is part of why air ambulance services exist. Some airlines are set up to deal with it with advanced notice, but an unsecured bottle carried on isn't feasible.

It depends on the airline. Ask your carrier for their regulations.

Most carriers prohibit,o2 cylinders but allow o2 generators with prior approval.

Our clients have bigger issues than their carry ons

Indeed on both counts.

Right... But you being a med-a-vac guy, the question really doesn't pertain to you. I say that nicely, not snarky. It's obvious you guys would carry Oxygen while others will not.

Carrier Specific. You'll need to check the website or call.
