Price difference of getting PPL ASEL first, then helo, or PPL helo, then ASEL?

Can't decide whether or not I'd like to learn airplanes or helicopters. I like helicopters more, but airline pilots have better chances for a higher salary.

What's the price difference of getting my PPL ASEL first, and then my helo rating add-on vs getting my PPL helo first, and then an ASEL rating add-on?

Well if you want to fly airlines I’d get the private airplane, instrument, commercial, and multi engine before even thinking about rotorwing.

I would think fixed wing first, then rotor. Because some of the fixed wing requirements will also take care of a few requirements for rotor, such as cross country requirements. Which I am guessing it will be less expensive in a fixed wing.
