Prescott, AZ. PA-28

And too much weight, even on a cold day. I've put 4 adults in a cherokee 180 at KAPA (5800 MSL). We took off, climb was iffy, was about to return to KAPA but caught lift and made it over Palmer Divide.

Never again.

Very logical guess. Cherokee 140, registered in Minnesota, 4 people on board. Glad they made it out of the wreck.
A 140? Forget density altitude - too much weight for that airplane, at that altitude, regardless what the specs say.

Density Altitude?

Since all 4 were able to walk away, the NTSB should be able to figure it out pretty quickly and easily.

Unless one of them was Gryder.

What if it was 3 supermodels and a pre-teen?

What about a 140 lb 18 year old with 3 teenage Tiktok 'influencers'?
