A couple of weeks ago we did an air-to-air shoot of friend Ron's C-182 from a PA-12 near Mt. St. Helens. One of my images from that shoot made it into Avweb's POTW runners-up this week:

Turns out there were two photos of this one airplane in this week's set of POTW photos. Unbeknownst to me, Ron submitted a photo himself, this delightful shot of his granddaughter on her first airplane ride:

Looks like she was really enjoying herself. I'd sure like to have grandkids to spoil like that.
 
How cute- it looks like she even knows to cover the mike & move it away from her mouth when she shrieks with delight!

Looks like automobile travel is going to be pretty "boring" for this girl from now on.
