Apparently the Potomac Tracon is shut down at the moment due to a “chemical smell”. Here’s a live ADS-B exchange look at the three airports in the DC area at the moment.

i wonder what the "emergency plan" for that looks like. You can bet that the Aurora IL Tracon developed one for when the contractor went beserk in the basement and started a fire......it's always....something.....sigh.

Thanks, truly, for the follow-up. I’m retired and doing my PhD related to sewer gas entry into indoor air. So much we take for granted in these engineered systems.
