We are getting ready for a long road trip. Any favorite podcasts to find and listen to? Aviation related preferred, but mention others if they are good.
Thanks.

Not aviation related but Radiolab always has something interesting. Even my teenage daughter likes it. The Moth is also good if you like short storytelling type of podcasts.

Opposing bases (atc, humor)
Aviation news talk with max Trescott (crash analysis, news, flying tips)
Airplane geeks (more commercial/ public focused)
Ask the a&p's (Mike Busch et al, really good one)
Fly the transition (starting aviation careers later in life)
Flying Midwest Podcast (good interviews)
Eaa's green dot (Interviews)
Greg brown: cockpit adventures (ga flying stories... really good)
Aopa never again (same as the article in the magazine)
Behind the prop (flight training focused)
Taking off podcast (Dan Millican & Christy wong)

Your local library usually has the Libby app, which gives you access to free audio books. Not the deepest selection and they’re like “library books” where there are limited copies for people to “check out”, but a good option for fiction and non-fiction books, if that’s of interest.

Also, it’s been a few years since we’ve listened but Revisionist History by Malcolm Gladwell has some interesting podcasts

The Afterburn Podcast. Their Bro Chat editions are fun - fighter pilots talking about more than just flying, it’s listening in on the guys just having a fun chat.
The Fighter Pilot Podcast
The University of Badassery
