We have a family friend who went this year. Seriously. Wow there's incredible money to be made in contacting prisoners. There's a software system that lets you buy email "credits" and pay for the inmate's also as well as pay to get them internal prison credits for buying things, etc. All while the "processing company" filters and checks everything passing in and out as well as takes a large percentage right off the top.

I haven't used it. Not that close with this person, but a couple of family members have. I'd have to say it's ironic the person went to prison for embezzling... from government even... All sorts of sorry jokes possible in that.

It was a "she" and it was a County, if I have the story straight from the family members who care more than I do... and apparently you don't go to prison for such things until you hit a "three strikes" kind of thing, so I might be thinking of the previous two times.

But I'm sort of shy and an introvert... need a bit of liquor to pry me out of my shell. Also I live in the middle of nowhere (Utah). And liquor is difficult here.

Good news....

This morning at 2 AM, Henning and I sprung Nate from jail at the Weld County detention center...

Kinda simple really....

Henning went to the front deck and started on his rant on Hydrogen and world peace.... The officers got into such a heated debate /fight they neglected to watch the surveilence cameras and I took my STOL plane, landed in the courtyard.. Told Nate to get off his Ipad and Tapatalk and get his ass in the plane.....

At first he was hesitant as he HATES Fords , but after some coaxing and a few Krispy Kreme donuts,, he jumped in...... With a 11 foot take off roll we cleared the barbed wire fence and evaded machine gun fire and flew back to Nates front yard......


Upon landing his wife came out and DEMANDED I take his ass back to the clink...... So... Off we went, but not to the jail.... We landed at the first firing range and used up a cube or two of ammo... I left and flew home and I "think" Nate was last seen hitchhiking down I_25....


Hope he is ok this morning....:redface:......:D.....:rofl:
