Why on my Windows machine does this website have a jittery response to typing? The keyboard latency is very annoying. This is the only internet site that I visit where my computer does it, and it doesn't do it with my Apple devices.

No. I use Chrome on this machine and the issue is recent. Different networks, same problem.

I suspect some browser extension or something like that is causing an issue... that or it’s an old PC that can’t keep up for some reason.

I get some keyboard latency once in a while, but it's usually some useless JS running in another tab.

The line between smartass and dumbass is narrow. Be careful out there!

Fairly new and high functioning Dell laptop. I guess I should just set it aside and use my iDevices. They're more stable. ;)

My IT girl thought it might be the network. I can plug into the Ethernet with cable service at one office or use a wifi with a satellite service at another office. Same behavior. I'm no IT guy but I hoped the change in venue would make a difference. It appears to be in the machine. Maybe I should do a rant thread about the evils of Windows? Nah, it's probably something simple, but still over my head.

If you can find an actual computer tech, a tune-up once or twice a year can do wonders.

Dell has a tool you can download (SupportAssist) to check the system. It will also update firmware. Great tool.
