winter blahs?

or am I the only seeing sluggishness with the POA site?

What can you say? We're all getting older.

I have spent some time working with my college alumni association over several years. We regularly interact with groups of current students. One problem with that, as explained to me by a professor -- an alum who also sits on the board -- is that we age from year to year; the undergrad students are always 18-22.

I'm seeing a bit of sluggishness (on the site, to clarify) as well.

Yes......it......seems......kinda......sluggish.....this......morning.

(Probably running straight 100 Aeroshell instead of a multi-weight Phillips.)

Looks like the usual eternal September stuff. @flyingron or I will take a look later today. Thanks for the heads up.

I have noticed some sporadic slowness, but haven't yet had time to look into it.

Seems much worse in the morning. What time does the site get it’s coffee? Did it just switch to decaf?

I'm seeing it here and on BeechTalk. Sometimes just slow to load. Sometimes it actually times out and I have to refresh to get it to try again. It usually works the second time, but not always. I was going to report it to my Internet Provider, but if it isn't just me that probably won't help.

Seems intermittent here. Some threads open fast as normal, others take up to 30 seconds or so or even time out.

Average 5 second lag here in AL.

Snappy today for a change.

OK now, seems sluggish in the evenings.

Yes, I see it. I've shutdown some things but I've not figured out what it is yet. I'm working on it.

Just reporting in. I occasionally see the slowness, but not as often as most on here.
Last two days have been rough though, including at this moment.

Ditto on lag. Comes and goes.

Slow, like 172 slow?

Actually, proof that a 172 CAN do 100kts over the ground. Who’da thunk?

Just to be clear, are we talking about the site, or the members? Because there seems to be some significant slowness, but only in a couple of the threads.

Should be better now.

Round up the usual suspects?

I am interested in creative solutions. Can you get an employee discount on a JASSM-ER?

Only the export version, which is slightly de-tuned. But if the problem is originating in the Middle East, I suspect some of the domestic versions will be fired soon anyway.
