POA safety record??

Someone should start a new thread with a poll built in, to see what the group's safety record really is.

I have never had any sort of incident flying GA. When I was flying to make a dollar the record is a little more spotty. I have: Mulched a pelican with an engine, taken a lightning strike which resulted in a fire, trimmed a spruce tree with a rotor while trying to get a hoist off a narrow beach, and blown the wig off an Admiral's wife landing on the ramp at E-City NC. :yikes: :D
The latter being a career ended IF said Admiral wasn't rolling on the floor laughing his ass off...... Oh wait! You are retired. Sorry about that.

Sorry so late to the thread, yes I see the date of last post-

I'd offer that perhaps PoA contributes to a lowered safety record.
Think of the many times PoA has helped a n00b Student Pilot get over a plateau in (insert challenge here) and they report back (they soloed, got their ticket, etc) and we don't hear from the afterwards.

I know PoA helped me pass my oral exam, thereby making it possible that I can fly without adult supervision :D
