Piper Factory Vero Beach

I am going to Vero Beach over the weekend of July 4th and I want to visit the Piper Factory. Has anyone stopped by and checked this place out? They are not offering any tours on the days I will be there but I was hoping they might have something worth checking out. If anyone is familiar with the area, are there any must see attractions or great restaurants?

Well, the last time I was in Vero was in 1981 when I worked for Flight Safety. Anything that I might recall would be obsolete most likely.

Without a tour, there is not much to see. However, CJ Cannon's restaurant on the field is an institution.
