Gust of wind causes plane to crash in Livingston County
He told police he was coming in for a landing when a gust of wind caused the plane to roll to the left, a wing clipped a tree branch and the plane “cartwheeled” into the trees.

This is not far from me. I dont know of an airport near there so he must have been planning to landing on a farm or field. Interesting.

There’s definitely a little grass strip there. You can see a Cessna and some T-hangars. It is not listed on any chart or directory I can find at this time.
