Has anyone else made use of the education products from www.PilotWorkshops.com? I've previewed a few of the modules and for me and my level of IFR knowledge, it is some good stuff.

Some of it is a repeat of what I already know and follow. But every so often, it interjects something useful that I can use, or reinforces a key technique for a successful flight/approach (such as being properly configured and stable before crossing the FAF).

There's a number of the "Mastery" scenarios that are being made available without subscription. They ask you to give them an email address but it's not too annoying.

If you've come across the free Mastery, they tend to be scenario-based with an answer given by one of the experts in the group. What I was most impressed with as a subscriber was that the scenarios seem to be fairly realistic.

What you don't get is the post-answer discussion by the 4-5 folks in the Workshop group, that may consist of agreement, disagreement or expansion of information and technique. There's also an online forum for subscribers to add their own 2¢.

Probably not for everyone but not a bad offering to look into.

Their stuff is pretty descent. I've only seen their free offerings, but they seemed well done and good food for thought.

I bought thier app with the library several years ago. The content is good - the app needs some work. I listen to the audio a lot while traveling.

I have found their IFR Mastery series to be excellent.

Real life scenarios often based on actual accidents, and with good explanation by their instructors of why they chose what they did.

You get a new one every month, and a quiz at the mid month period.

I have been a subscriber from the beginning, (several years) but I'm sure if you join now, you get all the previous scenarios as well.

They have good material. I subscribe to their IFR Mastery series... monthly scenarios including forum discussions about the scenario by other IFR pilots.
