I know this is a longshot but it never hurts to ask...

Would anyone be interested in giving me a ride from KEAU to KUBE sometime this week? My plane is stuck up at KUBE and I'm having trouble finding a ride by car or airplane to go get it.

The alternate option... which is probably what I'm going to have to do is pay CFI and rental fees for the time out there and back.

Would have to be on a VFR day and obviously I can only offer whatever compensation your rating allows for. Might be fun though.
 
Like to help,but I'm in Florida. Would hope that a pilot in your area could help out,for no fee. You need to find a place where pilots hang out,so you can help each other out ,when in a bind.
 
May also want to post on red, purple, and EAA. The more the merrier.

Not yet... I left a note up at the FBO. There's possibility of good enough weather later in the week, my wife might be able to drive me. Annoyingly while it took about 20-30 minutes to fly it, it's at least a 1.5hour drive.

Another possibility might be the mechanic who has it flying it back... but he hasn't flown anything in over a year, doesn't have much time in a cherokee, and probably most importantly I have the keys....

Appreciate anyone at least considering it. It will happen one way or the other, just feeling anxious not having it close to home in my own hangar.
