Pilot in the news!

Nice piece Brian!

Did you ever get the wheel chair off the runway? The cover of the book shows you taking off at about 4,000 FPM, 200' away from the chair. Are you sure that is not an RV?

;)

Severe updraft and VERY LITTLE GAS

Wow, I need a story like this, every so often, to remind me my problems are nothing.
Thanks, Brian.
Another story I often revisit for some inspiration... Jessica Cox in Tucson

Continued success.

That reminds me of a youtube vid of a go cart this guy put a small home built jet engine on. If we could mount that to Brian's wheel chair we just reach rotation with it.

LOVE the idea. Can I send an ebay wheelchair to your address for the retrofit?

Just finished the book. Was a great read, and I had trouble putting it down. You Guys did a fantastic job of painting a picture of what that time was like for you, Brian. I didn't realize how recent your experience was, praying that your course stays steady and healthy, and looking forward to the movie.

Glad you enjoyed it and thank you very much!
