Pig-tailing VOR Cable

Don't know if this is an Maintenance Bay question or better asked here.

With the diagram below, can the twisted shield wire that attaches to the antenna dipoles be pig-tailed to give a little more working room for future repairs

Yeah, you can use a solder sleeves and reasonably longer pigtails. After you make your antenna connections, sweep the coax/antenna with an SWR meter to make sure it passes.
