This year marks our first flying down for Sun n Fun (April 21-26, 2015) and we had a great trip. The arrival procedure, landing and activity during the show is truly a fantastic experience! I recommend any 1st timers to make the trek, fly-in, and visit the show.

The airshow runs daily 2-5pm from the various aerobatic teams, and demonstrate stand-out performances. Aeroshell, Breitling and the Thunderbirds amazed all that were able to witness their performances first hand.

Check below for a handful of images, animations and video grabs from this year's Sun n Fun performances.

Awesome pics!

That's on my bucket list to make the trip.

Wonderful pictures - thank you for sharing!

Do you have any pictures of Aeroshell #3 on the right side? Like this?

I noticed it's the only one with AeroShell stylized as AeroSheLL. I wonder if that's for formation siting or IDing the plane or what.

Great photos! Thanks for the post.

Heres a few animated gifs from the photo sequence. More to come this weekend

One of the shows I thought was pretty cool was the Glider on Saturday night. I tried to take pictures but there wasn't much light so it didn't come out well!

Just have 2x more. If anyone else has some pics, share them with us

Nice pics. I was there Sat and Sun. The crowd was beyond belief on Sat.
1 hr in line to get a ticket to get in and 1.5 hrs trying to get out of the parking
lot at the end of the day.

I had never seen the jet Waco before so I thought it was really cool.

Awesome. These would look really nice in some giant, metallic prints (I like the post processing as well). Thanks for posting these.

Are these really in the same vertical plane? I mean, are they really on top of each other, or one (the lower) aircraft closer to the camera, while the other (on top) farther from the camera?

How can they possibly do this without colliding??? Totally amazing.

EDIT: I think the pilot in the inverted jet seems bigger, along with the bubble canopy, then the the "upright" one, so maybe one's closer to the camera than the other. That's the reason I asked if they were in the same vertical plane.
