I work retail. Yes it does suck quite a bit this time of year. But v the people watching is great!

One of my co workers take a cab to work everyday and walks home... Work starts at 0500. It's Ohio in December and milder then normal. Usually 40* at that time. She gets out of the cab 10 minutes before the door opens due to cab. I'm in my warm car waiting till closer. She goes up to the door and stands there with her head against the door. I've offered for her to sit in my car and she refuses. So everyday she gets out of cab and freezes. Lots of my coworkers walk to work.

Another co worker was like "oh no... Oh no" I said what? She said I think I started my pi us-ie today. Um okay. I didn't bring any tampons. Looks like you're screwed....30 something women and you don't know when you start?

Shouldn't it be a tamp-in ?

OK, that's it! We have now, officially, discussed every possible topic on POA! It's a milestone.
Sort of like....when I finished the internet the other night. It's all done now.

Since I moved to the boonies I've gotten into the habit of keeping those sorts of items on hand for my guests of the female persuasion. I'm surprised how often I have to restock. I'd think most women would come prepared.

Maybe the ones I buy are better quality than the ones they buy and they're stealing them. :dunno:

There have been occasions that the womensfolk in my life have sent me to pick up those kinds of supplies. I am always fascinated how many different variants of the same product the companies can turn out. They should really come with a numeric code, like car light-bulbs.

Haha...I can picture it now, a book like the sylvania one for light bulbs at autozone..."let's see, 1974 brunette...says here the part number is..."

Besides the year wouldn't the parts guy need to know if it is a commuter or a heavy?

It'd prolly say, "discontinued. See 1984 blonde"

Had to purchase some for Mrs. Steingar once. A kindly (and not unattractive) woman helped a great deal.

And I walked my 3 miles to and from my job through the Polar Vortex two years running! Through snow and ice and subzero temperatures. Nothing like a little self-aggrandizement.

Funny how thinks went straight to feminine hygiene when the real subject of the original post was a lady that chooses to freeze outside while waiting for the front door to open vs. sit in Sara's pimpled out Caddy with full hydraulics and fuzzy dice while she drinks Alize and smokes some endo fresh from Tom D's hydroponics garden.

(But I understand why she wouldn't want some chick swapping those things out in the back seat of her Caddy. Like, ewww.)

Blood in the water, we're jumping the shark....

My first thought: What woman would come to ask you for one
My second thought: He probably just leaves them in the cabinet of the guest bathroom
My third thought: I'll bet these women are thinking that Rich is a weird dude.

My fourth thought: Rich is more of a stud than I imagined. :D

They usually don't, because:

My second thought: He probably just leaves them in the cabinet of the guest bathroom

Bingo, except that they're on one of those chrome shelf things over the toilet tank, along with towels, wash cloths, soap, new teethbrushes, teethpaste, and other such things that guests may need.

My third thought: I'll bet these women are thinking that Rich is a weird dude.

Well, yeah, but they already knew that.

Ever go through the checkout line with nothing but a bottle of Immodium and a box of tampons, and when the cashier looks at you funny, you simply respond with "Diarrhea." ??

This goes with that other thread about wanting to fly and a butt cork, right?
