Part 23 - new reference with load limits?

Part 23 used to include things like the load limits and safety factors for normal / utility / etc. aircraft. That was a convenient reference for my students when I assigned them to analyze the strut on my homebuilt to determine if it is adequate (Statics class - not an aero design) and it was easy to have them look up the standards on their own with just a couple hints. Now however, that is all gone. Anyone know of a current resource that they (or even someone designing their own homebuilt) could use to get the "typical" load limits for design? I'm not having much luck...

The old design load factor was
2.1 * (24,000 ÷ (W 10,000)) for normal and commuter category airplanes, where W = design maximum takeoff weight, except that n need not be more than 3.8
which lead them to a number for the total load on the strut...

I guess I can refer them to the obsolete regulations if pushing comes to shoving.
