At 15 y.o. after an AA, I was seen and released from the ER. But, my nurse mom and lawyer wanted me to go see all these specialist to up the payout and and say all this stuff was wrong with me when it wasn’t so my record now says I have a TBI, PTSD, panic disorder, ADHD, migraines, and I think lastly depression. I am 20 y.o. now. I don’t have any of these issues, i’ve never taken any medicine I was just scared of my lawyer and mom telling me to do all this stuff so I did it. I do not see my neurologist anymore, I don’t even have a clue when the last time I saw him was and we didn’t get along well as he was very intimidating to me. This whole process of medical is so confusing to me with my background and I have no idea how to go about this process because of my history.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

This should be easy to resolve, but expensive. This young lad should make his mother responsible for the expense!

I’m guessing anxiety attack based on the diagnosis

I'm basing my guess on the TBI, which I'm also guessing is Traumatic Brain Injury, and the inclusion of the lawyer. Why would a lawyer be involved in an anxiety attack without a cause of action?

Shall we start a pool?

This is a great country, but that whole story is one of things that things that isn't so great.

I have several of these. The most recent one, the Mom was obstreperious and my datagathering took six months due to her insistence that there was nothing in his past.

"well the previous counselor is in the record so the Agency is going to demand that record"
"oh, all that's gone now"

"well then if you don't supply it, he'll be denied."
....Month goes by.....HIMS psychiatrist is put on hold...."I'm not going to waste your $$s. The HIMS psychiatrist is going to demand that record, too"..

Turns out that he actually had a prior episode of depression.....
The kid is 17 and is a delightful young man, but Mom & Dad have really screwed the poor kid up.
Fundamentalist dad for whom his son is "an embarassment".

sigh. It's astonishing, what we do to our young....this stuff is NOT making America great....
