PA34 - trim wheel inspection during 100h inspection?

Hello,

As per the Maintenance Manual, how must the elevator trim system of a PA34 be examined?
Is a visual inspection of the cables adequate or does the elevator trim wheel, in which the elevator trim cable is connected, also have to be examined visually for wearing?

I don't have a PA34 manual in front of me, but I'll bet there are one or more inspection lines to check the entire stabilator trim system. I doubt there will be a line item to specifically check the trim wheel as the requirements are usually more general like check the trim system or mechanisms, etc. However, if you're asking should they disassemble the trim wheel to check for wear then probably not. Why the question?
