Dunno.

My personal checklists pages include a nite that it’s extracted from the POH and STCs for aircraft and S/N and valid only if the POH and supplemental AFMS for STCs are available.

I would be surprised if that happened absent (a) the applicant missing something, (b) a DPE who makes up their own rules, or (c) they used a Cessna checklist in a Piper.

Good self-made checklists are specific to the airplane. My flying club has two DA40s with G1000 systems. I have two different checklists for them. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if pilots who use the checklist in the POH are not using a checklist specific to the airplane (as currently equipped).

Here’s what the FAA says.

I hope not, as long as it included the necessary things.

FWIW, I actually made checklists for my commercial rides that had items to set up for success on each maneuver. I think that earned me bonus points.

The lists were created in MS PowerPoint, printed and then taken to a local office supply store who then laminated and spiral bound them for $7. Printing in PowerPoint in landscape mode is the larger kneeboard version, and the smaller short pocket version is the same document printed in portrait mode.

The front cover is important data. Look at the VSo metric for this 182P, which has a Robertson STOL kit. The emergency information is on a separate 8.5"x11" laminated card in the left-side knee pocket.

That’s really long

good checklist should be one half a page front and back, with the back being emergency items

As long as it doesn’t skip anything critical a DPE isn’t going to make a valid bust for using it pt91

Are you running the say soft field while you’re on the roll? Rudder neutral, what if there is a cross wind?

Now some items can be supplemental and can be briefed off the POH/AFM that should also be on your iPad
