Oshkosh 2021 Charity Fundraiser

It is with great pleasure that I can announce a repeat of the Oshkosh Social Media Aviators Poster Project from 2019. As before, a group of pilots known from YouTube and Instagram will sign posters at AirVenture this month, and four posters will then be auctioned off in August of this year for two charitable organizations:

• The Woody Williams Foundation, led by the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from World War II, Hershel Woody Williams. At the age of 97, Mr. Williams works tirelessly to provide comfort and support to Gold Star Families.
• The AOPA Air Safety Institute (part of the AOPA Foundation), whose mission is to promote safety and pilot proficiency in general aviation through education.

Besides yours truly, other PoA members contributing to this project are @SixPapaCharlie and @Radar Contact. In 2019, donations totaled $14,221.61. Please help me by spreading the word on the project and auction to help these two organizations.

All proceeds from the first two posters will benefit the Woody Williams Foundation, while the proceeds from posters three and four will go to the AOPA Air Safety Foundation.
