Osh transition start for next year

We've flown in IFR the past 5 years and shot the RNAV 27 all 5 times, including this year. A couple of times the weather as MVFR at best. Other than securing the reservation arrival slot (eSTMP isn't the greatest website) it's as easy as it gets--way easier than the VFR arrival and faster IMO (I fly my approaches at 120KTS). No holds and they sequence you in with the other traffic just like they do the warbird traffic. Typically you get land on the numbers or the Orange dot as the VFR arrivals get the Green dot.

X # of aircraft in X # of hours/minutes will always be difficult. It's one reason why arrivals are starting days before the show even starts.

pretty cool time lapse of the conga line

Looks like a bunch of Harvester ants heading to their hole for the night.

I've got to take my hat off to the boys and girls in the tower for being able to manage it.
