Protein is essential to good piloting. That's what my flight examiner says at least.
 
And cooking with cast iron, the only way to best that is to be cooking outside on an open fire...
 
Mmmm, looks like some'a that thick cut stuff! :yes:
 
I bake it on a rack, 375, convection, 20 minutes, 10 thick slices for two BLTs. . .no shrinkage.
