I have no explanation for it, but the mosquito population seems to be very low in the Sidnaw area. I spent several weeks every summer in the UP as a kid and the mosquitoes were the worst part of every trip. This summer and last we've had more mosquitoes here in the Grand Rapids suburbs than in Sidnaw.

Yeah, I know, Ed's going to kill me. Canceling last-minute second year in a row. Andrew and Jessie had to cancel due to a schedule conflict, and it was looking like Laurie wasn't going to be able to make it, either. So at that point it's just me in the Aztec by myself and I'd spend the whole weekend annoying you all with complaining about how much I wish I was with Laurie. So, that's what I'm going to do instead to avoid you guys the headaches. :D
