Odd waypoint in GPS

When I load the ILS 16 at KFTW in my 750 there is a waypoint CF16 before MUFIN that is not on the plate. What is that for? It it on the localizer further out than MUFIN.
 
"CF" = "computer fix." It's a waypoint for the GPS to orient itself - often to know when to command a turn inbound when doing the PT.

Edit: I just looked. It's only in VTF mode, so it's not about the PT in this case. But that's still its purpose - to give the GPS a fix to orient itself..
