Final Approach
Well, it's .57 miles from the door of the FBO to the beach at 25th street. At 10 minutes, that is a brisk 3.42 mph pace to the beach.
To get to any of the shops, food, etc., on the boardwalk, you're going about 2 miles to 12th street. Doing the whole thing is about a 5 mile round trip walk. We usually spend the $10 and take a cab back, although the return walk is better for working off the pizza, ice cream, popcorn, fries, fudge, etc., that is consumed along the way.
