It’s airframe dependent so it will not be in the engine manual.I picked up a copy of the O-200 operator's manual, but it doesn't specify the idle rpm. What's it supposed to be?
Only when it is different than the OEM data. other wise look in the overhaul manual or type certificate either may not have it. but one will. Overhaul manual will have that info in the testing after overhaul section. Then the ICA for the STC or Major Alteration would provide that info...

Do you know why the difference ?Thanks, Tom. The OH manual says 600 for the Stromberg and 500 for the Marvel. Either way, sounds like mine is idling high at 700ish.
The marvel has an accelerator pump, and can recover from a slower idle speed. The Stromberg does not and requires a much slower throttle advance. other wise the engine just quits for lack of fuel when the idle circuit is lost and the cruse jet does not have enough venturi action to draw fuel into the intake system.I do not, I am brand new to ownership.
