NTSB Site Down?

I haven't been able to log onto the NTSB aviation reports section all week. Is it down for maintenance or did the North Koreans shut it down

Yes, http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/query.asp is down.

Try getting at it this way instead:

I have noticed this for a few days atleast, the main NTSB site works but the aviation monthly reports are down.

Contributing to the crash is the NTSB's web admin's failure to properly monitor services, resulting in unintentional downtime.

It seems to be function specific. I was looking for a case decision. The query worked but pulling up the case itself resulted in a server configuration error.

NTSB has completely redone their accident database pages, and as a result, bookmarks to the old pages no longer work.

The new web page format is nice and modern looking, but it is far less easy to browse. "If it ain't broke, why fix it?" does not apply to government contractors!
