Not getting some email - Help

Recently I have had several reliable folks tell me the have sent me emails that I never received. I have Verizon DSL and use outlook to get my email at work. One of the senders asked if I had "junkmail" file and perhaps thats where the emails went to.

Answer: uhhhh I don't know. Where would I check in my outlook if I have a junk mail file?

There is a folder called "Junk" in newer versions of Outlook, usually under Inbox. Check there.

Also, your ISP or company might be running anti-spam systems that block some things. If you're not receiving some mail, they should be able to help.

I was messing around with the e-mail function on the Comcast web site and found that I had a BUNCH of e-mail in a junk mail folder that never downloads with Outlook. Looked and all of it was junk. They've got some good filters. There's been a lot more spam aimed at me that I knew. Heck, their filters are better than the ones at work.
