North Texas or Southern OK CFI

Are there any CFIs on here in the North Texas or Southern OK area willing to come to Bonham this weekend? I need a check out for High Performance and Complex rating in my Piper Comanche.

Background: I own a PA-24 250 which, under FAA rules is complex and high performance. However, under Canadian rules, the plane is not high performance and we don't have a complex rating. So, I've been flying this plane under my Canadian license for over 170 hours with no issues and no ratings needed. I just got my FAA license and medical, hence I now need the check out for HP and Complex. Technically I can still fly the plane under my Canadian license as my Canadian medical is also still valid but I don't intend to renew my Canadian medical once it expires so I'd like to knock out the two ratings ASAP and get them into my logbook.

One suggestion, since you're legal to fly under your CA license, maybe expand it to other areas rather than your immediate area? You have a fast plane. You could easily go pick up a CFI at another airport and increase your chances of getting someone w availability!

Like Michigan where there's a CFI with like 900 Comanche hours.

Fly it on up to the Oklahoma City area - preferably HSD - and I'll fly with you this weekend. I'm no @EdFred, but I am a CFI with a few hundred Comanche hours, AND am free this weekend!
