Given the number of GenAv links I click on FascBook, I'm not the least bit surprised that the almighty algorithm served me this video. What I can't tell is if its real, and/or if its actually new.
In a video of that seemed real enough on first viewing, on the 6" screen that is my phone, I got what looked like a promotional sales video for a twin-engine piston-propeller powered amphibian boat plane. The engines were pylon-mounted above the wing, closer to centerline that a conventional piston twin, and not quite as high as a Renegade. My first reaction was "Uh-oh... You've got all the drawbacks of a Lake Amphibian crossed with the drawbacks of a piston twin -- good luck insuring THAT thing." I watched until the end, trying to discern the telltale features of an AI hallucination, but didn't see any. I don't recall the name of the aircraft, or if the video even gave one, nor the name of the whatever FB group or entity posted the video.
Anyone else see something similar recently? For now, I'm chalking it up to vaporware.
