New male image!

Figures that the French would come up with something like this. I'll continue to be my slightly out-of-shape, beer drinking, facial hair sporting, cussing, ornery, traditional self, thank you very much.

For G-ds sake Anthony! What did you expect? Look who did the study, The FRENCH! Dress like that in Conshy and you won't make it a block down Fayette Street without getting something thrown at you!

I don't think they know if they're coming or going. :dunno:

Hey christmas on the runway (-:

(and not the runway we all love and adore, alas)

Fashion Experts. Gak. The same people who create beautiful designed dresses and make them out of petroleum based fabric.... sick puppies. SAve the floral polyester, make LL/JetA. My new motto....

Oh the shopping trip to Clowns are Us was great!! lol
Don

Must be getting way too old to feel like being fashionable

Seriously strange, Anthony. Is that what they dress like in Colorado?
Only in Boulder, Bob...only in Boulder!

Bob,

Greg beat me to it. Boulder is 10 square miles surrounded by reality. Saw a bumper sticker recently that said, "Forget Tibet. Free Boulder!"

Seriously, it is occupied territory, and I get the heebeegeebees when my wife drags me into some of the shops there. Serious anger towards opposing views usually displayed on T-shirts, bumper stickers, hats, etc. However, its nestled right into the mountains and is quite beautiful.

What the heck??!! Do the French really think we all want to go around looking like a walking Jack-In-The-Box?? Man, no wonder their empire disappeared.

And who says we no longer want to be the family super hero? Heck, I've got pj's with a big "D" on the chest I wear when I leap tall toy piles in a single bound!

Nice airport though. If you can avoid infringing on one of the (what is it 12?) noise abatement rules. My in-laws live there. The last two conservative republicans in Boulder. Surprised they have not yet been lynched.

I've seen some pretty bad fashions in Boulder, but even THEY have not reached the level of the French.

My kind of guy (do you shoot and drive a pickup, too?). The "new male image" makes me puke.

Surprise, surprise. Yes, I do. Mostly small bore now and a 2000 Ford F250 Diesel extended cab with 170,000+ miles on it. :D

I think that's what I looked like when I came in from my mountaineering trip...31 days of sweating, mud, ice, snow, no shower, no shave, no change of clothes, and a 82 lb backpack.

And no, I did not wash the clothes after the trip...went straight in the trash!

Anything under .50 caliber is small bore (as defined by this old black powder shooter). :D

One of the national radio talk show hosts, Dennis Prager (I think) was talking about this yesterday. He said basically some women just want a clone of themselves with the male anotomy. How boring would that be. Just like having a roomate to share clothes, make-up, and talk, ad naseum about feelings your feelings. :)
