new in ear headset Faro...

They look interesting. I thought the 30 dB noise reduction was an ANR reference but these are passive like my Halos.

I couldn't be more happy with my Halos. I've had them three or four years and they are quiet and clear, extremely light and simple. Spend the time to get that foam insert squeezed down correctly and inserted and they're as quiet as any ANR I've ever tried. That's what I've commonly heard/read from others as well - even guys with very noisy open cockpit acro planes.
 
I like their control box better than the Halo box from first glance, but I get the feeling I'd still like the Halo headband more.
 
Surprised a new item like this doesn't do a wireless connection to music or phone. That's what this needs to jump ahead of QT or CA.
 
The clarity aloft claims better noise reduction.
 
The speakers are in the ears like the CA. I prefer the Halo design personally. I have three Halos, the oldest is about 8 y/o. I can't imagine flying with anything else.
