Anyone know of a good LSA CFI in South Alabama, preferably at KCQF Fairhope airport?
Thanks.

I can be one :D I've flown into CQF a couple of times, but mainly just spend the weekends over there in Loxley. Can't be of more help, though, I don't know any of the instructors over there.

I don't have an answer for you, but it might help to let those who may know if you already have an airplane to train in, or if you are looking to rent an LSA.

If you want a Sport License, you can do most of your work (except for solo) with a regular CFI in a regular training plane (i.e. Skyhawk). You just have to switch to an LSA for solo. Actually, a regular CFI can take you all the way to Sport License. The hurdle is usually finding a LSA for rent to students, and a CFI who can and will teach in one.

That’s part of the B’ham metro area, isn’t it? I lived in the area while a student at Samford, but that was a loooong time ago.
South of Birmingham, yes. I mostly made the comment as a joke. Haha.
