Narco 12 Out

So my narco 12d display just went out. Radio seems to transmit not no receive incoming. My setup is dual G5s and a gtn 650xi as primary. My 12d is connected to a loc only cdi. With a gnc 215 can that connect as nav 2 with my G5s? I’ve heard mixed advice on that. Or get a new cdi with a garmin 215 to keep them separate.

What autopilot do you have? There's this in the G5 install manual:
...cannot interface with dual navigators if G5 is interfaced with a non-Garmin autopilot

I have the gfc 500. I checked it out too. Seems you can. I need to see someone who has i setup and using RMI
