just buy the stuff off the shelf...it's pasteurized and no need to worry about listeria/campy/salmonella/ecoli or getting into the newspaper next week

The recipe I've had for years is just raw eggs, the best tasting stuff I ever had! But my wife is nursing a nine month old and we have a two year old so I need it to be cooked up to 160 degrees to kill all that nasty stuff. I am going to keep trying later today, the wife bought five dozen eggs for me to experiment with!

Hmmm . . . No direct experience, but google found this, with both an uncooked and a cooked version:

It was the first hit after all of the ads. Alton Brown seems to know his way around a kitchen pretty well.
