NA Who Watched The Perseids This Weekend?

Anybody catch the Perseid meteor shower Saturday night/Sunday morning?
From North Lake Tahoe and crystal clear skies I saw 70 or 80 in less than an hour and a half early Sunday morning. Good show.

Yeah, you gotta get away from the city or lights. Tahoe is great for that, 6300 feet up.

I looked several times throughout the nite but the smoke from the fires in Idaho limited vis to a rating of "yuck"....

We drove out of town, but still saw only about a dozen. OTOH, the 60 miles or so we drove were likely wholly inadequate!
