[NA] Colorado newspapers

Someone I know lives in basault co. She said look in my paper. Two different ones came up.

Aspen daily news
Aspen times

Both seemed to have the same information but aspen times was more detailed.

Does that area really support two papers?! Is one more controversial?

I haven't paid attention to Colorado newspapers since late 1983 when I moved out of the state, so I can't help you there. The Rocky Mountain News doesn't exist anymore, so you're on your own.

I'm not sure if one is more controversial, but the Aspen Times is part of a newspaper group the has a paper in a lot of the mountain towns: Aspen, Vail, Summit County (Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Frisco), Glenwood Springs, Steamboat, Winter Park, and probably some others. The Aspen Daily News, as far as I know is independent and only in the Roaring Fork valley.
