Recently I bought a Oneplus 13. I've discovered the newer phones no longer have an optical thumbprint scanner; they now have ultrasonic scanners. Apparently that is a higher security scanner. Unfortunately, the ultrasonic scanners aren't functional through most all glass screen protectors. I don't like the film type screen protector and doubt it offers much protection. After hunting far and wide I found one glass screen protector that actually works with the fingerprint scanner. It is one of the glue down versions that uses a UV cure glue LOCA (liquid optically clear adhesive). Unfortunately after trying to glue on a couple of these they all have lost adhesion after a day or two. This results in an ugly visible bubble on a corner of the screen where it separated.

Has anyone had success at installing a UV cure glue LOCA attached phone screen protector? Is there a better brand? Do I need to take the phone to some shop to perform this service?
