I don’t know if Blade Runner 2049 counts as a remake of the original, but it was definitely better and in my opinion one of the finest science fiction movies ever made.

One of the very few movies I've walked out of.

Agree... I watched part of it on VHS tape back in the 90's I think...it was so sad to learn that somewhere, someone thought it had some sort of value.
