I’ve made a couple simple instructional videos just using iPhone as camera and iMovie on iPad to piece things together. That works fine for what I do.

I finally bought a new laptop (Win 10) and wanted to do any future editing there. iMovie is out. I’ve heard Movavi is good for what I need to do. Looking them up, shows several different levels of products (editor, suite, etc).

For making simple 10 minute videos where I have some normal video, some static pictures with voice over, ability to slip text in places, which -version- should I be looking at?

Or, if there’s a better software (for around same price) let me know.

Thanks!

I use Camtasia on windows because I need it to record the screen anyhow.

I still go back and forth between Movavi and Filmora/Wondershare. I like features in both packages. Both of the editors I mentioned do the screen capture and allow a voice over.
