Yup. If the data plate and airworthiness certificate say it's a glider, it's a glider.

There ARE motorgliders that can be purchased NEW where you get to choose what the data plate and airworthiness certificate says they are. But they're not able to be changed after they're "manufacturered".

Once delivered as a glider, it remains forever, a glider.
