To the layman it would appear so. However, as I stated, specifically only to certain records--not all records. But the reason behind 419 was to ensure the continuity of those specific records to the next owner and the ability to perform the requirement of 417(c). It's all inclusive. Been there. Got the T-shirt. Made the movie. And the sequel.

However, everybody is entitled to there opinion...
 
The missing logs are completely meaningless outside of the “experts” who are gonna tell you they are worth 50% of the airplanes value. Because of that you may as well walk because these same “experts” are spreading the same misinformation to everyone else out there so unless you intend to keep it and don’t give a hoot about resale value, or the guy selling it to you wants to take the bath, why bother?
