We took a $100 burger run today. Our airport is undergoing a lot of construction with a taxiway on the east side so everyone has to back taxi on the east runway and it is all rather a mess. On the west side, where our hangar is, there is no disruption.
After landing back at home, we had to go to the east side shop for a minor maintenance fix, then we had to taxi over to the FBO (also on the east side) for fuel (back taxiing on the runway because of construction). All this involved rather convoluted taxi instructions because they were moving the active runway from 16R to 34L.
Finally, we had to taxi back across the field to our hangar. For this last move, ground control said "wow, you're all over the place today."
My wife says I should have responded with "yeah, we are out trick-or-treating"
