Probably. Where are you thinking?Anyone up for something on Saturday Nov 1?
Far enough away that I need to use at least 40 or 50 gallons of gas? I could use a recalibration of my fuel burn and the new software on the G500 will do it with user input.Probably. Where are you thinking?
Based on the past 46 pages of this thread, somewhere in the Middle East. What are you people even west of?Probably. Where are you thinking?
A-ha! Now I can enter the chat! Y19 should get it done for you, and the courtesy cars are good to go for a breakfast run in town. This is tempting. North Dakota is one of two states I have still not stepped foot into.Based on the past 46 pages of this thread, somewhere in the Middle East. What are you people even west of?

Should we try the place at Jackson, MI? I can't find a menu though.Probably. Where are you thinking?
What's the other? Usually we are the "save the best for last" state. (That was our backup slogan, but lost out to simply "legendary," as in a story that everybody tells but nobody believes is real.)This is tempting. North Dakota is one of two states I have still not stepped foot into.
The other one is Alaska. It is a bit out of the way. Got Hawai'i done last year. What's the other? Usually we are the "save the best for last" state. (That was our backup slogan, but lost out to simply "legendary," as in a story that everybody tells but nobody believes is real.)

Let me just consult my handy dandy VFR Sectional Supplement to see if that's doable...
(I'd happily do a breakfast/lunch deal further west in the near future -- preferably before the deep freeze sets in)

The twin is running now again officially. I'd like to actually come at some point soon.Pik n pig.
Turbulence town was the truth today! Winds out of the east departing Pittsburgh, I got what I suspect was insane ridge lift - mid-weights climbing 2000+ fpm at 200IAS. I couldn't slow down and I didn't want to climb steeper. Then again, we were shaken half to death with the turbulence, which is why I was pitching up to try and slow the plane down so the bumps hit softer. Also, you need a cut-out around Chicago that notes "Why is it always bumpy in Chicago"North Dakota, eh...

I hope they are just as goodThe Apron was bought and renamed.
What, a pilot? Watch a few YouTube videos & do that brake job yourself. My Rock Auto order comes today, rear brakes, Honda Civic. Yes it may take me a little longer than the shop, but I like to think I use more TLC doing so.Rats! I have a dentist appointment Sat AMThen car goes in for brakes after

I've done brakes (rotors and pads) w/ an A&P on a couple different aircraft. I'd do these brakes myself if I were equipped. It's a bit different of a job on a 2+ ton SUV than a light single or twin. What, a pilot? Watch a few YouTube videos & do that brake job yourself. Watch out for that black hole between dragon land and turbo countryI like how you just ceded the thumb of Michigan to Canada. Probably for the best.
Any pireps on KIGQ, Lansing IL? Lynnie Ques? Saw on FF that the FBO is closed.
Lynnie Que's is decent, but I dunno if I want ribs and brisket for breakfast.Any pireps on KIGQ, Lansing IL? Lynnie Ques? Saw on FF that the FBO is closed.
Are you back??Easy flight for me. I could do I74!
@455 Bravo Uniform - No sure on IGQ. Despite its proximity to me, I haven't landed there in almost 6 years. That's almost too close of a breakfast location cuz I only get about 10 mins of flight time(EDIT: that said, if we really wanna go somewhere close I'm happy to do it).
When one is retired, it is always a weekendWeekends only, or are weekdays in play?
The bad part of being retired is that you never get a day off. When one is retired, it is always a weekend
