Hello,
anyone have a recommendation for a multi function display they like to couple to a G-400W?
I have used an apollo MX-20 before... it worked, but displaying weather killed it and it had to be restarted...
Anyone have luck w the Garmin MX200, or any Avidyne unit?
All I want to do is display weather and approaches of course.
thanks alot for the input

I'm using Foreflight coupled to a 430W via FlightStream210. Works awesome. Also get FF annunciations via bluetooth in the audio panel. One button up/download flight plans and see ADSB data on the iPad as well from the GTX-345 connected via 430W and FS210.

I hardly ever touch the 430W, as everything can be seen from ForeFlight on the iPad.

So... could all this continuity happen with the 796 mounted in the panel, instead of the ipad?
I appreciate the responses!

used GMX 200 for 3 years or so, worked like a charm, still have the unit in my garage for sale. that said, a 796 (whatever the new model number is, 760 i think) will get you more bang for $$

An iPad or Garmin Portable is going to be the best solution, and the easiest to keep up to date. As a bonus, it'll also be the cheapest.
